After graduating from the Medical Academy in Warsaw in 1983 and passing the general surgery specialization exam, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Clinic of General, Transplant, and Liver Surgery at the Medical Academy Hospital on Banacha. In 1997, he obtained a PhD in medical sciences. For many years, he served as the head of General Surgery at the Hospital in Grójec, and later the Surgery Department at St. Anna Hospital in Piaseczno. He currently again serves as the head of General Surgery at the Hospital in Grójec.

He has extensive experience in liver surgery, bile duct surgery, and stomach cancer. He performs a full range of general surgery operations, including laparoscopic abdominal surgeries and thyroid surgeries.
