Upper and Lower Eyelid Surgery
Younger, More Radiant Look
Eyelid Blepharoplasty
Upper and lower eyelid surgery – blepharoplasty is a surgical correction of the eyelids aimed at removing signs of fatigue and aging in the upper and lower eyelid areas, achieving a beautiful eye appearance with a noticeably younger and more radiant look, removing fat hernias, and restoring proper skin tension on the eyelids.
In some cases, removal or repositioning of fatty tissue causing the effect of swollen upper eyelids or “bags under the eyes” is also performed.

Upper Eyelid Surgery
-
What does the procedure involve?
Upper eyelid surgery is a precise surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fatty tissue from the upper eyelids, restoring a fresh, light, and younger appearance to the eyes.
With age, excess skin forms on our eyelids, causing them to droop. Excess skin and fat on the upper eyelid make the eyelid appear heavy, the face look older, and may cause swelling and vision disturbances related to the eyelid drooping beyond the lash line.
-
When do we perform upper eyelid plastic surgery?
Eyelid plastic surgery is performed both for aesthetic reasons, when the patient is dissatisfied with the appearance of their eyelids (drooping eyelid), and for functional reasons, when the drooping eyelid reduces the field of vision.
-
What are the effects of the procedure?
The procedure improves the aesthetics of the eye area, smooths the eyelid contour, and makes the face look rested and more defined.
The effect is natural, long-lasting, and clearly enhances daily comfort.
-
What does the procedure involve?
The upper eyelid correction procedure involving the removal of excess skin and/or fat from the eyelids is performed under local anesthesia or intravenous sedation and lasts about 1 hour. The surgeon makes an incision in the natural crease of the eyelid, removes the excess skin, removes fat hernias, and sutures the wound. After 7-10 days, the patient returns for suture removal.
After the procedure, bruising or swelling may occur, but these inconveniences quickly subside. The scar is located in the natural eyelid fold and after the recovery period is practically invisible.

Lower Eyelid Surgery

What does the procedure involve?
Lower eyelid surgery is a surgical procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the lower eyelids, reducing bags, dark circles, and signs of fatigue.
It refreshes the gaze, making it radiant and younger, while the face looks naturally rested.
-
What are the effects of the procedure?
Lower eyelid surgery provides both aesthetic and functional benefits:
- Reduction of bags and excess fat – the gaze becomes fresh and rested.
- Smoothing of the lower eyelid skin – reduction of wrinkles and skin folds.
- Improvement of eye contour and facial proportions – the eyes become more defined, and the lower eyelid harmonizes with the upper eyelid.
- Improvement of functional comfort – in some patients, it reduces the feeling of eyelid heaviness and eye irritation.
The procedure improves the contour of the lower eyelid, restores facial proportion balance, and provides a long-lasting, subtle rejuvenation effect.
-
What does the procedure involve?
The procedure involves making an incision below the lash line and separating the skin down to the lower edge of the orbit, then removing the excess skin, tightening the muscle, and removing fat hernias under the eyes if present. The incisions made during the procedure are practically invisible – they are hidden in the natural skin folds. The procedure is performed under local or intravenous anesthesia, lasts about 1 hour, and ends with closing the incisions using delicate sutures. After 7-10 days, the patient returns for suture removal.
After the procedure, bruising or swelling may occur, but these inconveniences subside quickly. The scar is located in the natural eyelid fold and after the recovery period is practically invisible
