Recovery after the procedure?
Immediately after areola correction and during the following days, pain may occur, which can be effectively reduced by taking painkillers prescribed by the doctor. Redness, swelling, and increased tenderness of the operated areas are also completely normal. Stitches are removed about 14 days after the procedure, and normal activities can be resumed after about 21 days. However, it is recommended to refrain from physical exercise for approximately 6-8 weeks after the procedure. Of course, after full healing, special care should be taken to maintain hygiene of the operated areas.
