Cooperation
Our goal is the efficient initiation and conduct of the study, therefore we guarantee:
- collaboration with monitors from the feasibility stage to the site close-out visit
- short contract negotiation time and rapid decision-making process
- access to a broad patient population
- specialized medical staff (certificates from multiple completed GCP trainings)
- coordination and administration of clinical trials by personnel experienced in managing such research projects
- high quality medical documentation management (timely completion of data in eCRF and prompt response to queries)
- appropriate facility conditions
Recruitment
We recruit candidates for clinical trials based on our own patient databases maintained since 1999 and cooperation with physicians of various specialties and other medical facilities, ensuring effective recruitment
Facility Equipment
The WILMED Medical Center is equipped with professional and certified medical equipment used both in minimally invasive diagnostics – e.g., soft tissues – ultrasound, echocardiography, ECG, skin lesions – videodermatoscope, as well as highly specialized oncological examinations – mammotome biopsy device.
Additionally, we have:
- a centrifuge;
- refrigerators;
- a freezer down to -20°C with temperature monitoring;
- equipment for measuring vital parameters (scale, blood pressure monitor, non-contact infrared thermometer),
- a blood collection and processing point.
Experience
The WILMED Medical Center has:
– staff with extensive experience working with electronic tools used in clinical trials including eCRF, IVRS/IWRS, and eDiaries. Each research project is assigned a coordinator who is comprehensively responsible for all work related to the study
- a team of experienced clinicians and recognized researchers from various medical fields, holding certificates in GCP, ISO14155, and IATA, along with a suitably trained and experienced nursing team
The following research projects have been conducted at the WILMED Medical Center, among others:
- Study on the effectiveness of contact liquid-static thermography in detecting pathological changes in the female breast gland compared to standard breast cancer diagnostic methods.
- Phase III randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study evaluating the clinical procedure and safety of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid solution (HL-01) used in the treatment of symptomatic osteoarthritis of the knee joint.
- Multicenter, randomized, double-blind, vehicle-controlled parallel study aimed at assessing the efficacy and safety of a topically applied 10% P-3058 solution in the treatment of nail mycosis.
- “AIPAC (active immunotherapy with paclitaxel): multicenter phase IIb randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving patients with metastatic breast cancer with positive hormone receptor status receiving IMP321 (LAG-3Ig fusion protein) or placebo as part of supportive therapy alongside standard chemotherapy including paclitaxel.”
