The operating room at the Wilmed Medical Center in Wilanów was established in 2016. It is well connected with the rest of the Center – the patient moves on a single level throughout. Adjacent to it are examination rooms and diagnostic ultrasound. Procedures are performed on a scheduled basis in the morning and afternoon, usually from Monday to Friday, and if necessary, also on weekends. The most frequently performed procedures include general surgery, such as hernia repairs, hydrocele surgeries, gynecomastia treatments, breast tumor surgeries, selected orthopedic procedures, and plastic surgery operations.

The operating room at Wilmed Medical Center is equipped with air conditioning and ventilation that maintain positive air pressure. It is well equipped with essential surgical equipment, including a Draeger anesthesia machine with monitoring of vital signs and anesthesia depth, a Maquet operating table adapted for intraoperative patient monitoring (e.g., using X-ray equipment) during surgery, a C-arm X-ray device for intraoperative diagnostics, an ultrasound device for performing regional anesthesia, a shadowless surgical lamp, and equipment for cryo- and electrocoagulation.

Depending on needs, we can provide specialized medical and nursing staff as well as disposable equipment necessary for specialized procedures. We ensure professional patient care after surgery – we have, among others, cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, and blood pressure monitors, allowing us to monitor the patient’s vital signs throughout their stay at our facility.

We offer patients a air-conditioned double room with a bathroom, equipped with electrically adjustable beds, wireless internet access, and easy access to summon medical staff.

Costs for using the operating room are calculated individually for each procedure and depend on many factors, including medical staff involvement, medication consumption, and the length of the patient’s stay at Wilmed Medical Center.
